6945 Linda Vista

6945 Linda Vista is a video essay that reflects on ethics when involving strangers in my work. The project started as an attempt to recreate the family dining atmosphere in McDonald’s. I decided to hold a birthday party in two different McDonald’s and invite lone diner to join the party since having a birthday party in McDonald's has always been my dream. However, when revisiting the footage I have collected, I started to reflect further on the relationship between me, as an artist, and the stranger, as my subject matter.
